Merchant Account Virtual Terminals and eCommerce Gateways for MO/TO and Website Shopping Cart Processing.....

Wireless V Card Not Present
So you want to know if it makes sense for you to spend the extra money to set up a wireless credit card merchant account, or if you should continue to process at CNP / MOTO (card not present / Mail Order / Telephone Order) rates. It can be a fairly involved analysis but this should help you with the basics. First we need to look at the fixed costs for each credit card processing solution. On average it the difference between your monthly cost for a retail processing merchant account and a MOTO merchant account is about $5.00. This means you will save about $5.00 a month by switching from a MOTO account to a Retail account. Additionally it will cost you about $25.00 a month for unlimited wireless access so your added fixed cost will be about $20.00 a month.
Now we need to look at your projected savings by processing as a Card Present / Retail merchant versus Card Not Present / MOTO. On average it costs approximately 55 basis points more to process card not present credit card transactions whether it’s through a payment gateway with a virtual terminal, or on a standard credit card machine. So if you were processing a $100.00 transaction you would save about $0.55 cents. In order to offset the additional $20.00 that the wireless credit card processing solution will cost you will need to process in excess of $3,650.00 a month. This does not take into consideration the cost of the terminal and / or any additional transaction fees that you may incur. We offer a FREE Wireless Terminal Placement Program and an unlimited wireless access fee of only $19.95 a month so the math becomes Much easier!! We are happy to take a look at your current processing profile to see whether wireless credit card terminals make sense for you and your business and to see if you qualify for our Free Placement Program!!
